Calling all poets and poetry lovers! Help us celebrate National Poetry Day by reading one of your own original poems at our lunchtime open mic session.

Your poem needs to be reasonably short (no longer than five minutes when read aloud) and only one poem per reader is allowed.

Spaces are strictly limited so arrive early to sign up! Registration is on a first in, first served basis.

The event will be introduced by Wellington poet and this year’s Waikato University Writer in Residence, Therese Lloyd.

There will be a prize for audience favourite, so bring your friends to cheer you on!
